2.1 Information you provide

• Account information: your email address, username, display name, and password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form). If you sign in using a third-party provider such as Google or Apple, we receive basic profile details (such as your name and email) from that provider.
• Profile information: any optional details you add, such as a profile photo, cover image, country, or bio.
• Communications: the contents of messages you send us (for example, support requests sent to our support email).

2.2 Information generated as you play

• Gameplay data: match history, questions answered, scores, response times, win/loss records, skill rating (Elo), XP, levels, titles, achievements, daily-challenge and tournament participation, and leaderboard rankings.
• Social activity: friends, follows, challenges sent and received, and rivalries.

2.3 Information collected automatically

• Device & technical data: device model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, and general usage/diagnostic information.
• Identifiers: a unique account identifier and, where applicable, IP address and push-notification token.
• Local storage: we store certain data on your device (such as session tokens and preferences) so the app works correctly and remembers your settings.

We do not collect payment card details directly. If in-app purchases are offered, payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and we receive only confirmation and limited transaction details — never your full card number.

3. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you when you sign in.
• To operate core gameplay: matchmaking, real-time duels, scoring, ratings, leaderboards, daily challenges, tournaments, and achievements.
• To enable social features such as friends, follows, and friend challenges.
• To send service-related messages and push notifications (for example, when someone challenges you), which you can control in your device settings.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To monitor, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, including detecting cheating, fraud, abuse, and technical problems.

4. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK users)

• Other players: your username, display name, profile image, rating, and leaderboard position are visible to other users as part of normal gameplay. Do not include sensitive information in your public profile.
• Service providers: we use trusted third parties to host our backend and database, provide authentication, deliver push notifications, and help us analyze and improve the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

• Access & portability: you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction: you can update most profile details directly in the app.
• Deletion: you can delete your account, which removes your personal profile data as described above. You may also email us to request deletion.
• Push notifications: you can disable them at any time in your device settings.
• Marketing: any optional promotional messages will include an opt-out, and we honor such requests.
